Daytona 500 Start Kaulig Racing announced that Hemric will be behind the team's No. 16 Chevrolet next month in the season opening Daytona 500. Impact The No. 16 entry of Kaulig Racing will be a timeshare in 2022, but the team has named Hemric driver for the season-opener at Daytona. The reigning Xfinity Series champion will be splitting the car with A.J. Allmendinger and Noah Gragson this season. Hemric will be making his second-career start in the Daytona 500. He wrecked and finished 34th-place in the 2019 installment of the Great American Race.
