Indy 500 Details Emerge Jenna Fryer from the Associated Press reports that Larson's deal with McLaren and Hendrick Motorsports for its Indianapolis 500 entry is for two years: 2024 and 2025.

Impact The deal has been in the works for a while now and some details are starting to emerge on Larson's upcoming involvement in the Indianapolis 500. Rather than just a one-off start, the 2021 NASCAR champion looks to be in line for two starts in the Indy 500. Hendrick Motorsports is collaborating with McLaren on the deal, and more details are sure to come out soon.

Daytona 500 Outside Pole Larson won the outside pole for the Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway on Wednesday.

Impact Larson's lap of 181.057 mph would briefly put him on the pole position late in the second round of qualifying. However, his Hendrick Motorsports teammate, Alex Bowman, would go out last in round 2 and eclipse Bowman's lap to take the pole position. Larson's lap would hold up for the outside pole and make the front row for Sunday's Daytona 500 at all-Hendrick Motorsports affair.
