Will race in Indy 500 in 2024 Larson will run the 2024 Indianapolis 500 for McLaren-Hendrick, Jim Utter of Motorsport.com reports.

Impact This car will be a one-time fourth entry for Arrow McLaren Racing in 2024 with co-ownership from Rick Hendrick. Larson's primary Cup Series sponsor HendrickCars.com will be on the side of the NTT IndyCar Series car for the Indy 500. Larson will be the first driver since Kurt Busch in 2014 to run "The Double" which is competing at both the Indy 500 and Coca-Cola 600 run on the Sunday of Memorial Day Weekend. Larson has experience running all kinds of vehicles, including co-driving a Daytona Prototype to victory at the Rolex 24. Tony Kanaan will be driving the fourth Arrow McLaren car at the 2023 Indy 500.

Runner-up Finish at Martinsville Larson finished second in the Xfinity 500 NASCAR Cup Series race at Martinsville Raceway Sunday afternoon.

Impact The Hendrick Motorsports star led the first 68 laps from the drop of the green flag, but Larson would fall back in the field a bit after losing the lead to Chase Elliott. Larson would be a Top-5 driver the rest of the way, but he'd never regain the lead. The final 24-laps of green flag racing would see Larson pick off some spots but he would finish 0.869-seconds back of Christopher Bell at the checkered flag. It was Larson's 13th Top-5 finish of the season.
