Joins Rockets on two-way deal Lamb agreed Wednesday with the Rockets on a two-way contract, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports. Impact For the second March in a row, Lamb will be elevated to the Houston roster on a two-way deal after impressing with the Rockets' G League affiliate, the Rio Grande Valley Vipers. Since rejoining the Vipers after a brief run in the NBA with the Spurs in January while he was on a 10-day deal, Lamb has averaged 16.9 points, 7.4 rebounds, 4.4 assists, 2.9 triples and 1.3 blocks in 33.9 minutes per contest. Aside from rookie Usman Garuba (ankle) being sidelined, the Rockets are currently at full strength at forward, so Lamb may continue playing in the G League rather than immediately joining the NBA team.
