Impact While coach Mike Budenholzer said Lopez has only been cleared for individual, on-court work thus far, this still looks to be a positive step for the big man, who has not played since Opening Night. Lopez underwent back surgery in early December and is without a firm timetable, but if all goes well, the Bucks are hoping he can return to action sometime before the conclusion of the regular season. To date, Milwaukee has been able to get by with Bobby Portis and Giannis Antetokounmpo absorbing most of the center minutes. Whether the Bucks make a move to acquire another big man at next week's trade deadline could be an indication as to whether they believe Lopez will be back to full strength before the playoffs.
