Impact Head coach Jordi Fernandez told reporters before Sunday's game that Claxton would see more playing time than he did over the first two games of the regular season. Claxton's 22 minutes were only two more than Friday's game against the Magic, but the 25-year-old center was productive during his on-court time and he registered his first double-double of the season. Claxton should serve as the Nets' first big man off the bench while Day'Ron Sharpe (hamstring) is sidelined.

Impact Schroder was the Nets' second-leading scorer Sunday behind Cam Thomas (32) and tied with Ben Simmons for most assists on the team. Schroder has logged at least six assists in each of the first three games of the regular season, and over that span he's averaging 20.7 points on 46.5 percent shooting, 6.3 assists, 2.7 rebounds and 1.0 steals across 33.7 minutes per game.

Impact Thomas led both teams in scoring Sunday, and while he struggled with his efficiency from beyond the arc, he did manage to get to the line for a team-high 11 free-throw attempts. Thomas has attempted 20 or more field-goal attempts in two of the first three games of the regular season, and over that span he's averaging 30.7 points on 47.7 percent shooting (including 46.2 percent from three on 8.2 3PA/G), 5.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 1.7 steals across 34.7 minutes per game.

Impact Claxton will come off the bench for a third straight game, but coach Jordi Fernandez said the big man would see more minutes than he has in the last two games. Claxton has played 15 and 20 minutes, respectively, during the first two games of the season, and it wouldn't be surprising to see him closer to 25 against Milwaukee even though he's not in the starting lineup. Brooklyn will start Ben Simmons, Dennis Schroder, Cam Thomas, Cameron Johnson and Dorian Finney-Smith for a third straight game.

Impact Due to a lingering hamstring injury from training camp, Claxton has operated off the bench to start the season, playing 15 and 20 minutes, respectively, during the first two games. It's unclear when Claxton will return to the starting lineup, but he has avoided a setback and is slowly seeing his minute restriction eased. Based on the current trajectory, it's safe to assume Claxton will see closer to 25 minutes against the Bucks. While the big man has struggled to make a strong fantasy impact in his limited role, he has recorded at least a steal and a block in back-to-back games.

Impact Milton saw meaningful minutes, yet failed to make any noise when it came to tangible production. Despite a somewhat fantasy-friendly game, it doesn't appear as though Milton is going to be afforded a consistent role in Brooklyn. Should he step into a larger role at any point, he would be a name to watch. For now, he can be safely ignored across most formats.

Dennis Schröder - Drops 20 points Friday Schroder produced 20 points (7-12 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 3-4 FT), one rebound, six assists and one steal in 32 minutes during Friday's 116-101 loss to the Magic.
Impact Schroder scored a season-high 20 points in the loss, turning in another decent performance. Despite his limitations, Schroder typically finds a way to do just enough to remain fantasy-relevant, much like he has done to begin the season. His long-term outlook is far from enticing, given the Nets could look to move him or lean into their youth a little more as the season progresses. For now, he deserves a roster spot in most formats, particularly for anyone seeking points and assists.

Cameron Johnson - Underwhelms in loss Friday Johnson closed Friday's 116-101 loss to the Magic with 12 points (4-12 FG, 2-10 3Pt, 2-3 FT), two rebounds, two assists and one block over 35 minutes.
Impact Johnson delivered an uninspiring performance, despite scoring double-digits for the second straight game. Although expectations are somewhat muted, managers would love to see Johnson doing a bit more on both ends of the floor. He remains a viable fantasy asset for now, however, if things don't start to trend in the right direction, he could eventually become expendable.
