Javonte Green with a RIDICULOUS One-Handed Putback Slam vs Cavaliers šŸ˜±
2 years ago
Alex Caruso - Heads to bench SaturdayCaruso won't start Saturday against the Cavaliers.
ImpactCaruso heads to the bench with Zach LaVine set to make his season debut. The veteran floor general started the previous two games but averaged only 4.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.5 assists along with 2.5 steals per game, so his absence -- and lesser role -- won't have much of an impact in most fantasy formats.

Zach LaVine - Starting against CavsLaVine (knee) will start Saturday's game against the Cavaliers.
ImpactLaVine missed the first two games of the regular season, but he's ready to make his debut against another playoff contender in the Eastern Conference. The star guard won't have a minutes restriction, and his presence in the lineup should provide quite a boost to the team's offense while also easing the load on DeMar DeRozan's shoulders.

Vernon Carey Jr. - Questionable SundayCarey (concussion) is questionable for Sunday's game at Cleveland.
ImpactCarey hasn't played yet this season. Even when available, he probably won't be an every-game player.

Zach LaVine - Will play SaturdayLaVine (knee) isn't listed on the injury report ahead of Saturday's game against the Cavaliers and will play in the evening's contest.
ImpactAs expected, LaVine is set for his season debut Saturday. Per a report, LaVine practice in full Thursday and won't face a minutes restriction, though Donovan admitted LaVine playing 38 minutes or more wouldn't be ideal. Thus, look for LaVine to log around the 34-35 minutes he's played, on average, over the last four seasons.

Kristaps Porzingis - Decent output vs. ChicagoPorzingis registered 14 points (6-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal across 29 minutes before fouling out of Friday's 102-100 win over the Bulls...
ImpactPorzingis couldn't repeat what he accomplished in the season opener when he recorded a double-double, and he looked a bit limited after rolling his ankle Wednesday against the Pacers. He should remain a starter going forward and seems to have the willingness to play through the injury, but it wouldn't be surprising if he posts lesser numbers as he rehabs from the ankle problem.

Kyle Kuzma - Enjoying strong startKuzma chipped in 26 points (8-16 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 6-7 FT), six rebounds and two assists across 34 minutes during Friday's 102-100 victory over the Bulls.
ImpactPerhaps surprisingly, Kuzma has led the Wizards in scoring in the first two games of the campaign and has looked excellent while also showing decent levels of efficiency. It's only been two games and that's a small sample size to draw any long-term conclusions, but the fact that he's averaging 24.0 points per game while shooting 45.7 percent from the field and 38.9 percent from three-point range are encouraging figures.
