Gets two-way deal from Toronto Carton signed a two-way contract with the Raptors on Saturday, Aaron Rose of SI.com reports.

Impact Carton's 10-day with the Raptors expired Saturday morning, but he did enough to earn another contract. He appeared in only two contests during his week and a half with the club, averaging 4.0 points and 1.0 assists in 5.5 minutes. Carton will likely spend most of his time in the G League with the Raptors 905, but Toronto may need depth after losing Scottie Barnes (hand) for an extended period.

Deal with Toronto expires Carton's 10-day contract with the Raptors expired Saturday, making him a free agent, Keith Smith of Spotrac.com reports.

Impact Toronto will have the option of bringing Carton back on a second 10-day deal if they were satisfied with his performance over his first week and a half with the club. After being signed from the G League's Iowa Wolves, Carton appeared in two games for Toronto, averaging 4.0 points and 1.0 assists in 5.5 minutes.

Impact Carton has spent the start of the year with the G League's Iowa Wolves, where he averaged 20.8 points, 7.1 assists and 3.1 rebounds in 38.7 minutes per game over 15 regular-season appearances. He'll have an opportunity to carve out a role with Toronto as the team resumes play following the All-Star break.

Impact Carton averaged 14.5 points, 5.4 assists, 4.3 rebounds and 1.0 steals in 32.5 minutes across 41 appearances for the Iowa Wolves in 2022-23. He will likely spend this upcoming season with the Timberwolves' G League affiliate as well.
