Progressing to 5-on-5 scrimmage Wiseman (knee) will participate in a 5-on-5 scrimmage Tuesday for the first time this season, Anthony Slater of The Athletic reports. Impact Wiseman, who suffered a torn meniscus last April, underwent arthroscopic knee surgery in December after his rehab wasn't going as planned. A week ago, the second-year big man progressed to full-contact drills for the first time, and he'll attempt to take another leap forward by participating in a full-contact, 5-on-5 scrimmage Tuesday. Barring a setback, Wiseman looks as though he could be ready to make his 2021-22 debut at some point shortly after the All-Star break. As a rookie last season, Wiseman averaged 11.5 points and 5.8 rebounds in 21.4 minutes per game, but he may have to settle backup role at center behind Kevon Looney once he's deemed ready to play again.
