Impact Knox got a rare opportunity early in the game and scored eight points in 10 second-quarter minutes. It was his first time scoring more than four points and playing more than 18 minutes in a game all year. Entering play Sunday, he had made just 24.1 percent of his shot attempts and was 3-for-20 from beyond the arc. The 23-year-old has played in three straight games for Detroit and may continue to get opportunities to prove himself in limited minutes.

Despite his status as a 2018 lottery selection, Knox has appeared in just 13 games this season and has averaged 3.6 points and 1.7 rebounds in 8.5 minutes. His scoring average has decreased each season he's been in the league, and he's yet to shoot better than 39.2 percent from the field in any of his four years. At this point, Knox needs to be worried about his status in the NBA once his rookie deal expires this offseason. His path to fantasy relevance in Atlanta is arguably more blocked than it was in New York, so it may take several injuries to other forwards before Knox picks up a regular role off the bench.
