Impact McLaughlin had his way with the Rockets on Saturday, handing out a season-high 11 assists. D'Angelo Russell has been struggling of late, allowing McLaughlin to see a few extra minutes. He is now averaging 4.3 assists across the first eight games of the season, making him a viable streaming option for anyone desperate for dimes.

Austin Rivers - Fails to score Saturday Rivers posted no counting stats in zero minutes during Saturday's 129-117 win over Houston.
Impact Rivers barely made it onto the floor in the win, registering minutes for just the fifth time this season. The Timberwolves simply don't need him out there on most nights, highlighted by the fact that he's yet to score a point all season. Barring injuries to a number of other players, Rivers is clearly an afterthought when it comes to fantasy.

Taurean Prince - Plays key role off bench Saturday Prince finished Saturday's 129-117 victory over the Rockets with 16 points (6-12 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one block across 32 minutes.
Impact Prince scored a season-high 16 points in the win, sliding into an elevated role after Rudy Gobert was placed in the health and safety protocols. While he is a key piece off the bench for the Timberwolves, he is not really on the radar outside of deeper formats. Until Gobert is cleared to return, Prince could continue to see an uptick in both minutes and production.

Kyle Anderson - Productive in starting role Anderson ended with 16 points (6-7 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 2-3 FT), three rebounds, six assists and three steals over 31 minutes during Saturday's 129-117 win over the Rockets.
Impact Anderson logged his first start of the season, sliding into the opening five with Rudy Gobert (COVID-19 protocols) ruled out. It was a vintage performance from Anderson, contributing on both ends of the floor. Based on the result here, there is a good chance he sticks in the starting lineup until Gobert makes it back on the floor. If that is the case, he could be worth a look as a short-term addition in 12-team formats.

Impact Edwards was questionable prior to Friday's contest due to an illness, but the third-year forward enjoyed his regular workload and posted at least 24 points for the fourth time across his last five games. Many fantasy managers would've expected Edwards to see a reduction in his numbers following the arrival of Rudy Gobert, but the former Georgia standout has actually improved compared to his breakout 2021-22 season. Edwards is averaging 23.2 points per game thus far, a figure that would be a career-best mark if he can maintain it throughout the season.

Impact Towns fouled out late in the fourth quarter, and while his final stat line was impressive, his efforts were not enough to lift Minnesota to a victory against one of the best teams in the Eastern Conference. Towns has recorded three straight double-doubles and scored at least 20 points in his last six outings. The arrival of Rudy Gobert has not affected his fantasy production massively, though he's on pace for the lowest fantasy rank of his career.
