Impact Reid didn't play in Minnesota's regular-season opener, but he's appeared in back-to-back games since. After not scoring across nine minutes during his season debut against Utah, the backup big man finished in double figures Sunday despite seeing only 13 minutes. He was solid on the offensive end of the court, drilling his first two triples of the season while also helping out on the boards. Reid is unlikely to see sizable workloads on a consistent basis given his place on the depth chart behind Rudy Gobert, but he has been a solid option off the bench for the Timberwolves over the last few years, most recently averaging 8.3 points, 3.9 rebounds and 0.9 blocks over 77 games in 2021-22.

Impact Gobert turned in yet another massive performance on the glass in this one, recording his second double-double in three games so far this season. Though the sample size is small, the big man is averaging an eye-popping 18 boards through three contests and is a solid 21-for-34 from the field to kick off the year. Gobert should also continue to serve as one of fantasy managers' top options for blocks in 2022-23.

Taurean Prince - Solid contribution off bench Prince produced 11 points (4-8 FG, 3-5 3Pt), three rebounds and three assists over 23 minutes during Sunday's 116-106 victory over Oklahoma City.
Impact Prince did the majority of his damage from three, and he's now knocked down three triples in two of the first three games of the season. He also saw his heaviest workload of the young campaign Sunday evening after logging 12 and 18 minutes in his first two games, respectively. While Prince certainly is capable of scoring the basketball, he'll primarily serve in a depth role for Minnesota and shouldn't be counted on to consistently score in double figures.

The All-Star big man did provide some efficiency from the charity stripe, where he went 7-for-8, but his fantasy managers can't be thrilled with his 11-for-35 (31.4 percent) mark from the field through two games. Towns is likely to improve upon that rate as the campaign goes on, though his efficiency may take a hit this season with Rudy Gobert clogging up much of the room around the basket.

Edwards' fantasy strengths are his scoring and three-point production, so performances like Friday's should be a relatively frequent occurrence this season.

Impact Playing against the team with whom he spent the first nine years of his NBA career, Gobert did his usual heavy lifting on the boards, grabbing a game-high 23 rebounds. However, he uncharacteristically made less than half his field-goal attempts, and he missed two big free throws near the end of overtime that could have tied the score. Gobert has never been a good free-throw shooter, but fantasy managers who drafted him did so for his blocks and boards, and the big man has been business-as-usual in those areas in his first two games with Minnesota.
