Quad injury emerges Morris (quad strain) will be re-evaluated in three weeks, Tim Bontemps of ESPN.com reports. Impact Morris dealt with back spasms throughout preseason, but now a more serious diagnosis of a right quad strain appears to be the chief cause of his absence. He will miss Detroit's first 12 games at minimum, and his eventual return is unclear given that he's an unlikely component of the team's long-term future. With Bojan Bogdanovic (calf) also facing a multi-week absence, usage for Alec Burks, Jaden Ivey and Ausar Thompson is on the rise -- although the floor spacing in Detroit's offense will suffer mightily.
