Making good progress Bulls head coach Billy Donovan said Sunday that Williams (wrist) has been ramping up his conditioning lately and thinks "there's a very strong possibility" the second-year forward... Impact Williams underwent surgery to repair torn ligaments in his left wrist at the end of October and was expected to be sidelined for 4-to-6 months. If he's able to return by the front end of that timeline, the Bulls could have Williams back by the end of February. Williams' return at any point down the road would be a major boon for the Bulls, who are currently without three rotation players for extended periods of time in Alex Caruso (wrist), Lonzo Ball (knee), and Derrick Jones (knee). Meanwhile, Zach LaVine (back) and Coby White (groin) are out for Sunday's game against the 76ers with injuries that are believed to be more minor.
