Bradley Beal - Won't play Saturday
Beal (elbow) is out for Saturday's game against the Mavericks.
Impact
Beal was previously listed as questionable for this matchup due to right elbow soreness, and the star guard will end up missing the contest in the second half of a back-to-back set. His absence should open up more minutes for Royce O'Neale, Ryan Dunn and even Damion Lee. Beal's next chance to play will come against the Lakers on Monday.

Bradley Beal - Just misses double-double
Beal chipped in 15 points (6-14 FG, 3-6 3Pt), one rebound, nine assists, one block and two steals in 35 minutes during Friday's 123-116 loss to the Lakers.
Impact
With Kevin Durant and Devin Booker combining for 53 points on the night, Beal focused on distribution duties and led the Suns in assists. Roles among the trio will shift from game to game -- the 31-year-old wing dropped 24 points but dished only one dime in Phoenix's opener -- but Beal should be productive as long as he can stay healthy. He hasn't played more than 60 games in a season since 2018-19.

Devin Booker - Pops for 23 against Lakers
Booker closed with 23 points (9-21 FG, 4-10 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal in 35 minutes during Friday's 123-116 loss to the Lakers.
Impact
He led the Suns in three-pointers on the night as the team shot 45.9 percent (17-for-37) from beyond the arc. Booker has been locked in from long distance to begin the campaign, draining eight of 15 three-point attempts through the first two games, but that's unlikely to last -- the 27-year-old guard has never shot better than 38.3 percent from three-point range over a full season.

Kevin Durant - Pours in 30 in Friday's loss
Durant finished with 30 points (11-17 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 6-7 FT), four rebounds, six assists and one block in 39 minutes during Friday's 123-116 loss to the Lakers.
Impact
The 36-year-old led the Suns in scoring on the night with a strong shooting performance that helped his team get out to a 22-point lead during the second quarter, but the Lakers dominated the second half. Durant has produced at least 25 points in each of the first two contests of the campaign -- not a surprise, considering the future Hall of Famer has averaged better than 25 points a game every season since 2008-09.

Grayson Allen - Out for personal reasons
Allen (personal/Achilles) won't play in Friday's game against the Lakers, Mark Medina of NBA.com reports.
Impact
Allen was initially labeled probable due to right Achilles soreness, but a personal matter will sideline him Friday. It's unclear if he'll be available for the closing half of Phoenix's back-to-back set Saturday against Dallas. Ryan Dunn and Monte Morris should see more action while Allen is out.
