LeBron James is the master of the chase-down block, but on Saturday in Philadelphia, James had a layup swatted off the backboard by seven-footer Joel Embiid.
Robert Covington had no chance of stopping LeBron from getting to the rim, but just as James put a finger-roll off the backboard over Covington, Embiid came swooping in at a sprint and spiked the ball off the glass. The referees missed a goaltending call as the ball hit the backboard before Embiid arrived.
The Cavs won the game, 102-101, to move to 6-0 on the season, but Embiid continued to impress with 22 points (including 4 3-pointers) and four blocks in 25 minutes.
