Being bought out The Magic are finalizing a contract buyout with Ross, who will become a free agent, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Impact It was apparent a buyout was coming considering Ross was pushed out of the Magic's rotation in late January while rumors swirled of the team cutting ties with the veteran. Ross will certainly be in high demand on the open market as a strong wing defender and capable scorer. However, he likely will be headed to a contending team, meaning his role may not be large enough to garner fantasy attention in most leagues.

Impact With Jonathan Isaac (knee) making his long-awaited debut Monday, the Magic were close to full strength for the first time all season, as Chuma Okeke (knee) -- who isn't certain to be in the rotation when healthy -- was the only player on the team's injury report. Even though Isaac was limited to just 10 minutes Monday, his return was enough to bump Ross outside of the rotation. Ross had played in each of Orlando's previous 10 games and saw more than 20 minutes in four straight appearances, but he looks as though he could be in store for limited playing time moving forward.

Impact Ross was a non-factor in the victory, failing to even attempt a shot during his limited time on the floor. Until then, he can be streamed in deeper formats for anyone in need of points. Although, clearly that didn't turn out well in this one.
