Gary Trent Jr. - Shines against Wolves Trent ended Wednesday's 103-91 win over the Timberwolves with 30 points (10-24 FG, 5-12 3Pt, 5-7 FT), four rebounds, two assists and one steal over 39 minutes. Impact After erupting for a season-high 42 points Feb. 10, Trent recorded a combined 17 points on 7-for-27 shooting from the field in the two games that followed. The absence of Fred VanVleet (knee) allowed Trent to settle back in as the Raptors' primary option out of the backcourt Wednesday, and the 23-year-old was able to take advantage of the opportunity to deliver a bounce-back performance. Though Trent's volatility can be tough to stomach, he's still been a plus asset in scoring, three-pointers, free-throw percentage and steals throughout the season and is locked into a consistent 30-plus-minute role. Fantasy managers should continue to keep him active with a fair amount of confidence.
