Logs limited practice Wednesday Collins (groin) was a limited practice participant Wednesday, John Boyle of the Seahawks' official site reports. Impact Collins (30) and Travis Homer (31) had a near even split of the running back snaps this past Sunday at Green Bay. However, Collins received the majority of the touches (11 versus four), as Homer primarily worked as an extra pass protector in Russell Wilson's (right finger) return to action. Clearly, Collins has been able to gut through the groin injury that has impacted his practice reps during preparation for each of the Seahawks' last three games, but his production has been lacking (38 touches for 137 yards from scrimmage and no touchdowns). There's also the Chris Carson situation to monitor with this backfield. After his practice window opened last week, he got on the field Wednesday and Thursday, but he hasn't been able to in the meantime due to a sore neck. Carson doesn't seem to be an imminent threat to Collins' standing as the team's No. 1 RB, but things could change if the former gets on the right track in his recovery.
