Ascends to active roster The Giants signed Mack to the active roster Tuesday, Michael Eisen of the team's official site reports.
Impact Mack has spent the year on the Giants' practice squad, but now he'll replace Damion Ratley, who was waived by the team Tuesday, on the active roster. The 23-year-old wide receiver posted a 27-361-3 line over 10 games at Ohio State in 2019, and he's expected to work as the No. 4 wideout until Sterling Shepard (toe) returns from IR.

Impact Mack joined the Giants in April as an undrafted free agent. He could participate in his first ever NFL game Sunday against the Rams, but he's buried down the depth chart at receiver and is likely to be used primarily on special teams.

Impact Mack wasn't able to crack New York's final roster, but he showed enough in training camp to stick around the organization in an emergency capacity. The Giants are set to begin 2020 with five wideouts on the practice squad, so Mack won't lack for competition.
