The veteran linebacker ended up playing 47 of the team's 65 defensive snaps and recorded two tackles, including one for loss. Regardless the severity of Taylor's injury, it appears Irvin will be a likely candidate for a third straight elevation in Week 9.

Impact Irvin is slated to join Seattle's practice squad following a seven-tackle campaign in 2021 with Chicago. The veteran linebacker was drafted by the Seahawks in the first round in 2012, and he's since played for the Raiders, Falcons, Panthers, Seahawks (2020) and Bears.
