Let go by Seahawks Jones (undisclosed) was waived from injured reserve by the Seahawks on Tuesday, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.

Impact Jones was placed on injured reserve with an undisclosed injury in June, ultimately missing the entirety of training camp and the preseason. The defensive tackle will now have the chance to pass a physical and sign with another team at some point during the 2024 season.

Impact In a corresponding move, Seattle signed quarterback PJ Walker. Jones, a defensive tackle, signed with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent in May. He played his college ball at Troy and recorded 29 tackles in 14 games in 2023.
