Montez Sweat - Limited Wednesday Sweat (elbow) was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice.
Impact Chicago's star edge rusher now appears to be dealing with an elbow injury after playing through a toe issue in the Bears' Week 2 loss. Sweat's practice participation Thursday and Friday will likely provide a better indication of his availability for the Bears' Week 3 matchup with the Colts.

Amen Ogbongbemiga - Out of concussion protocol Ogbongbemiga (concussion) was left off the Bears' injury report Wednesday.
Impact Ogbongbemiga was thought to have sustained a concussion during the Bears' Week 2 loss to the Texans, but following Wednesday's injury report, it appears he's passed protocol. Expect the Oklahoma State product to remain one of Chicago's top rotational outside linebackers as the season progresses.

Rome Odunze - Limited in practice Wednesday Odunze (knee) practiced in a limited capacity Wednesday.
Impact Odunze was capped to one limited session last week before the Bears deemed him questionable for this past Sunday's game at Houston. He ended up suiting up while fellow wide receiver Keenan Allen (heel) did not, but despite playing 66 of 70 offensive snaps, Odunze had just two catches (on five targets) for 33 yards. Odunze's limited session Wednesday indicates he's still dealing with the MCL sprain that he picked up Week 1, but he at least was able to mix into drills unlike Allen, who again didn't practice.

Teven Jenkins - Misses Wednesday's practice Jenkins didn't practice Wednesday after sustaining a deep thigh bruise during Sunday night's loss to the Texans, Jason Lieser of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
Impact Head coach Matt Eberflus told reporters that he "feels good about" Jenkins' availability for Week 3's matchup with the Colts, despite his missed practice Wednesday, per Lieser. However, if Jenkins' deep thigh bruise is too much to overcome by Sunday, expect Bill Murray to get the nod at left guard.

Dashaun Mallory - Joins Chicago's 53-man roster The Bears signed Mallory to their 53-man roster Wednesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Impact Mallory failed to make the Bears' initial 53-man roster in late August, but it now appears the team had a change of heart. The Arizona State product linked up with Chicago after going undrafted this past offseason. He recorded 48 total tackles, including 2.0 sacks and eight additional tackles for loss, across 12 games during his final collegiate season.

Impact Pickens sustained a groin injury during the Bears' Week 2 loss, so it's no surprise that the 24-year-old will be held out of Wednesday's practice. His participation in practice both Thursday and Friday will provide a greater indication of his Week 3 availability.

Khari Blasingame - Won't practice Wednesday Head coach Matt Eberflus told reporters that Blasingame (knee) will miss Wednesday's practice, Chris Emma of 670TheScore.com reports.
Impact Going back to last week, Blasingame has now missed three consecutive practices, as well as the Bears' Week 2 loss, due to a knee injury. His practice participation Thursday and Friday will provide a better indication of his potential return in Week 3 when Chicago takes on Indianapolis.

Keenan Allen - Won't practice Wednesday Bears head coach Matt Eberflus said Wednesday that Allen (heel) will not participate in practice, Chris Emma of 670TheScore.com reports.
Impact Allen missed all three of Chicago's official practice sessions last week, missing Chicago's loss to the Texans as a result. Eberflus said the team is "trying to get [Allen] back on the grass as soon as we can," but at this point it's unclear when a realistic target for the veteran wideout to resume handling practice reps will be. If Allen is unable to play Sunday versus Indianapolis, all of DeAndre Carter, Tyler Scott and Collin Johnson will once again be candidates to see increased roles behind No. 1 wideout DJ Moore and rookie first-round pick Rome Odunze.
