C.J. Uzomah - Regresses in Week 8 Uzomah caught all four of his targets for 33 yards in Sunday's 34-31 loss to the Jets.
Impact Uzomah was held in check after compiling five touchdowns over his previous four games. The tight end had a pair of yardage outbursts north of 90 over that productive stretch but has failed to reach the 40-yard mark in any other game this season. Uzomah will remain a boom-or-bust option in Week 9 against the Browns with the Bengals looking to bounce back from this spooky Halloween loss.

Tee Higgins - Just shy of century mark in loss Higgins caught four of six targets for 97 yards in Sunday's 34-31 loss to the Jets.
Impact Higgins got lucky on a 26-yard catch down to New York's two-yard line in the second quarter, as the ball appeared to hit the ground but the Bengals got the next play off before the Jets could challenge. There was no doubt about his 54-yard gain in the third quarter. Both plays set up touchdowns, which were scored by Ja'marr Chase and Joe Mixon, respectively. Higgins opened the season with a two-game touchdown streak but hasn't found the end zone since. He'll look to regain his scoring touch in Week 9 against the Browns.

Joe Mixon - Scores twice in upset loss Mixon rushed 14 times for 33 yards and a touchdown while catching four of five targets for 58 yards and another touchdown in Sunday's 34-31 loss to the Jets.
Impact Mixon couldn't find much running room but was effective as a pass-catcher and salvaged his day on the ground with a one-yard rushing score early in the second quarter. His fifth rushing touchdown of the season was a long time coming, as it came on Mixon's fourth touch from inside New York's two-yard line. He added his second receiving score of the year from eight yards out in the third quarter, but the Jets took over late to pull off a Halloween treat for the fans at MetLife Stadium. After out-touching Samaje Perine 18-2, Mixon should work as the Bengals' feature back against the Browns in Week 9.
