Scores TD in season-ending loss Slayton brought in two of three targets for 29 yards and a touchdown in the Giants' 22-7 loss to Washington on Sunday.
Impact Slayton returned from a shoulder injury and was at least able to record his first touchdown grab since Week 2, small consolation for an utterly forgettable season for the third-year speedster. Slayton scuffled with both injury and poor quarterback play to post an ugly 26-339-2 line across 13 games, a significant downturn after a solid first pair of pro seasons. Slayton will hope the return to health of Daniel Jones (IR-neck) and a potential new coaching staff will help lead to a much more productive offensive environment in 2022.

The Giants offense is downright horrible at the moment, tanking the fantasy value of all New York skill position players. Slayton will look to get back on track against the Bears in Week 17, but fantasy managers should look elsewhere.

Glennon was diagnosed with a concussion Monday, while Jones has yet to be cleared for contact, leaving the statuses of both players in flux for a Week 14 game against the Chargers. Jake Fromm would be in line to make his NFL debut if neither Jones nor Glennon is cleared, and that unsettled situation coupled with the potential returns of Toney and Shepard renders Slayton a rather unappealing fantasy option this week.

Impact Slayton was efficient with his targets, but it would have been nice to see him draw more in this matchup, especially with teammates Sterling Shepard and Kadarius Toney both out with injuries. While Slayton's speed makes him a dangerous downfield threat, the depth of the Giants' pass catcher rotation and the general struggles of Daniel Jones make it difficult to see the route to mainstream fantasy viability most weeks.

Impact Slayton's long gain of 21 yards helped him rank second on the Giants in receiving, even though his fumble on the last play of the first half cancelled some of his production out. The third-year pro has been a frustrating figure this season, and with rookie Kadarius Toney hauling in seven of 12 targets to go with Saquon Barkley's six grabs Monday, Slayton has stiff competition for looks within an inconsistent New York offense.
