Netane Muti - Placed on reserve/COVID-19 list Muti was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list by the Broncos on Tuesday, Aric DiLalla of the Broncos' official site reports.
Impact Muti has been contributing on special teams the last three weeks, after drawing starts on the offensive line in Weeks 2 and 4. The 2020 sixth-round selection will likely have to miss the Broncos Week 8 contest against Washington but will try to return for Week 9 against Dallas.

Jonas Griffith - Returning from IR Griffith (hamstring) was designated to return from IR by the Broncos on Tuesday.
Impact Griffith was originally injured during a Sept. 26 game against the Jets, then placed on IR on Sept. 28. Griffith was strictly a special teams contributor the first three weeks of the season, but as the season progresses and injuries pile up, Griffith will try and earn some defensive snaps. His first chance will be Sunday against Washington.

Impact Reed played a season-high 96 percent of the defensive snaps in Thursday's loss to the Browns, and it's unknown exactly when he picked up the injury. The Broncos linebacker group is currently riddled with injuries, so having him miss Sunday against Washington would be a big blow to the defense. However, he is expected to be ready for Sunday.

Impact Okwuegbunam is thus eligible to resume practicing as of Tuesday, but because he's still on IR, the Broncos won't have to disclose the extent of his participation until he officially rejoins the 53-man roster. With that in mind, gauging whether Okwuegbunam is on pace to play Sunday against Washington could be difficult, but whenever he's brought off IR within then next 21 days, he should step back in as the No. 2 tight end behind Noah Fant. Before he was deactivated Oct. 9 due to the hamstring injury, Okwuegbunam recorded nine receptions for 57 yards and a touchdown on 10 targets through Denver's first four games.
