Mike Purcell - Dealing with thumb injury Purcell (thumb) injured his thumb during Thursday's loss to the Browns and could be sidelined for an extended period, Ben Swanson of the Broncos' official website reports.
Impact Coach Vic Fangio said that Purcell could miss a couple of weeks with the thumb injury, but the team and player are still evaluating the options. Fangio said that regardless of whether the 30-year-old defensive tackle has surgery or not, he will likely have to wear a cast while he plays for the remainder of the 2021 campaign.

Impact Cleveland played on just four of the Broncos' 50 offensive snaps Thursday. The 24-year-old wideout was elevated from the team's practice squad ahead of the contest to serve as depth for Denver's offense. Despite his extremely limited role in the passing game, Cleveland was mostly a contributor on special teams, playing on 70 percent of special teams snaps in the game. With fellow wideout Jerry Jeudy making his return from an ankle injury in the near future, Cleveland will likely have a difficult time seeing the field going forward. The Broncos will square off against Washington in Week 8.

John Brown - Catchless in loss Brown failed to secure his only target in Thursday's 17-14 loss to the Browns.
Impact Brown was elevated from the Broncos' practice squad ahead of Thursday's matchup with the Browns, but the veteran ended up playing on just six of the team's 50 offensive snaps. The wideout's only target in the contest was a shot into the end zone early in the second quarter, but quarterback Teddy Bridgewater's pass was intercepted. Brown was signed by Denver to provide depth at the wide receiver position, but he will likely struggle to see much playing time as Jerry Jeudy is set to make his return from an ankle injury in Week 8. Next up for Denver is a matchup with Washington on Oct. 31.

The 27-year-old tight end was unable to capitalize on his increased playing time, playing well behind starter Noah Fant. Saubert is in no way an option for fantasy purposes. The 6-foot-5, 253-pounder would need both Fant and Okwuegbunam to be sidelined with injuries to see any sort of path to fantasy relevance. The Broncos will host Washington in Week 8.

Denver trailed Cleveland for the majority of the contest, yet Hinton could not get in on much of the action in the passing game. The 24-year-old is likely to see his involvement on offense take a significant dip with fellow wideout Jerry Jeudy set to make his return from an ankle injury in Week 8. Hinton will remain off the fantasy radar when the Broncos host Washington on Oct. 31.

Impact Patrick played on 94 percent of the the Broncos' offensive snaps, but he was essentially a non-factor Thursday night. The Denver offense had trouble getting anything going, which ultimately impacted Patrick's ability to produce for fantasy. Unfortunately for 27-year-old wideout, he is likely to see a drop in playing time and target share as fellow wide receiver Jerry Jeudy is set to return from his ankle injury that landed him on IR. Patrick has been solid for the Broncos in Jeudy's absence, but he will be difficult to trust in fantasy lineups once Jeudy takes the field. Up next for the Broncos is a matchup against Washington in Week 8.
