Impact Okwara has missed three straight games due to the ankle injury, but after a full practice to start the week, it appears he will return for Sunday's contest against the Seahawks. Before his absence, the 2020 third-round pick had played at least 27 snaps and recorded multiple tackles in seven straight games. Okwara will likely have a similar workload against Seattle.

Impact Swift appears to be closing in on putting an end to a four-game absence, the result of an AC joint sprain in his shoulder. Coach Dan Quinn even hinted as much Wednesday, telling Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press that he expects Swift to return Sunday at Seattle. With a full practice under his belt to begin Week 17 prep, Swift is well on his way to doing just that. How the snaps and reps will break down between him, Jamaal Williams and even Craig Reynolds remains to be seen, but in the 10 contests before Swift suffered the injury he averaged 19 touches per game.

Jared Goff - Dealing with knee issue Goff didn't practice Wednesday due to a knee injury, Justin Rogers of The Detroit News reports.
Impact Goff relayed that he suffered a knee injury near the end of the first half of his last appearance, a Week 15 win against the Cardinals, per Rogers. The Lions promptly placed Goff on the reserve/COVID-19 list last Monday due to a positive test for the virus, and because he remained there for exactly one week, the team wasn't required to list him on its Week 16 injury reports. Now, Goff's status is in question in advance of Sunday's visit to Seattle, but he'll have a pair of practices to prove his health in advance of that contest. Next up on the depth chart is Tim Boyle, who completed 24 of 34 passes for 187 yards, one touchdown and one interception this past Sunday in Atlanta in place of Goff.
