Shane Zylstra - Promoted from practice squad Zylstra was bumped up from the practice squad Saturday as a COVID-19 replacement.

Impact Zylstra has seen significant work the last two weeks since T.J. Hockenson (thumb) went on IR. Playing a total of 67 snaps on offense across both games, Zylstra has recorded three catches on seven targets for 34 yards in those two contests. Zylstra will look to make an impact, and maybe catch his first career touchdown, Sunday against the Falcons.

Amani Oruwariye - Done for season Oruwariye (thumb) was placed on IR on Saturday.

Impact Oruwariye injured his thumb last Sunday against the Cardinals on the final drive of the game. It was reported Friday that he could need season-ending surgery. Either way, with three weeks left in the season and a minimum three week stay on IR, Oruwariye will be ineligible to return this season. The third-year pro will now set his sights on being ready for the 2022 campaign.

Kalif Raymond - Receives questionable tag Detroit lists Raymond (shoulder) as questionable for Sunday's game in Atlanta.

Impact Raymond was able to practice in a limited capacity all week, which seemingly bodes well for his chances of getting the green light to play Sunday, despite his designation. Since raising eyebrows with a six-catch, 115-yard outing Week 7 against the Rams, Raymond has failed to come anywhere close to reaching those marks in any of his subsequent seven outings, combining to produce a 15-129-1 receiving line over 22 targets. With backup quarterback Tim Boyle stepping in at quarterback this week with regular starter Jared Goff (illness) not expected to be activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list prior to Sunday, Raymond is unlikely to reverse his trend of underwhelming stat lines.

Josh Reynolds - Gets Week 16 questionable tag The Lions list Reynolds (thigh) as questionable for Sunday's game against the Falcons.

Impact Reynolds was able to practice in a limited capacity all week, which seemingly bodes well for his chances of getting the green light to play Sunday, despite his designation. Rather than the thigh issue, the more troubling development for Reynolds' Week 16 outlook is the likelihood that Tim Boyle will be stepping in at quarterback for regular starter Jared Goff (illness), who isn't expected to be activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list prior to game day. Boyle managed only 77 passing yards on 23 attempts in his first career NFL start Week 11 against the Browns, a wretched performance that makes it difficult to feel optimistic about any of the Lions' pass catchers' odds of producing fantasy-friendly lines versus Atlanta.

Impact Goff has continued to test positive for COVID-19 since initially contracting the virus Monday, and the Lions aren't confident that he'll either test negative on two consecutive occasions 24 hours apart or show diminished symptoms, which he'll need to do in order to clear the NFL's return-to-play protocol. Boyle has taken first-team reps in practice all week sans Goff and is primed to make his second start in six weeks, after the latter was previously sidelined with an oblique injury Week 11. Boyle oversaw a listless Detroit offense in his team debut and first career NFL start, completing 15 of 23 attempts for only 77 yards, no touchdowns and two interceptions in the Lions' 13-10 loss to Cleveland. The Falcons defense presents a less imposing matchup than the Browns, but fantasy managers' expectations for both Boyle and the Lions' skill-position players should still be tempered.

Jalen Reeves-Maybin - Questionable again for Sunday Reeves-Maybin (shoulder) is listed as questionable to take the field Sunday against the Falcons.

Impact The linebacker missed the Week 13 and Week 14 contests due to the shoulder injury, but he was able to return to the field and play 96 percent of the defensive snaps last week against Arizona. Prior to that contest, Reeves-Maybin had logged a trio of limited practice sessions, which is precisely how this week has shaped up as well. Given that context, it seems reasonable to expect him to take the field Sunday.

Julian Okwara - Could return Sunday Okwara (ankle) is listed as questionable to play against Atlanta on Sunday.

Impact The linebacker has missed each of the Lions' past two contests with the ankle injury, but he was able to log a limited practice session Thursday and Friday. If Okwara is unable to suit up against the Falcons, Jessie Lemonier would be in line to again see increased snaps.

Impact Woods has been unable to log any type of practice session this week due to a neck injury suffered in the first half of last week's win against Arizona. Derrick Barnes saw most of the work in Woods' stead against the Cardinals and could continue to do so this Sunday.

Impact According to Lions coach Dan Campbell, Oruwariye injured the ligament and bone in his thumb on the final drive against the Cardinals last week. While the cornerback is still being evaluated, surgery appears to be a possibility. Oruwariye leads Detroit in defensive snaps this season, so his absence would be a big blow to the team's secondary. Either Will Harris or Ifeatu Melifonwu figures to take Oruwariye's starting role.at left cornerback for Sunday's game and potentially beyond.

D'Andre Swift - Chance to play Week 16 The Lions list Swift (shoulder) as questionable for Sunday's game against the Falcons.

Impact For the first time since suffering an AC joint sprain of his shoulder in the Lions' Thanksgiving Day loss to the Bears, Swift won't be ruled out ahead of the weekend, as he was prior to each of the Lions' last three games. Swift earned the questionable designation after he was a limited participant in practices Wednesday through Friday, a development that gives him a shot to play Sunday. Even if the Lions clear him to start in advance of the 1 p.m. ET kickoff, Swift could be in store for a lighter workload than he enjoyed in previous weeks, given that he's making his way back from injury in addition to the fact that Craig Reynolds has impressed the past two weeks while serving as Detroit's lead back. Jamaal Williams is also back from a two-game stint on the reserve/COVID-19 list, leaving the Detroit backfield more crowded compared to when Swift first sustained the injury.
