Targeted eight times Sanders caught four of eight targets for 27 yards in the first half of Saturday's preseason game against Green Bay. Impact Stefon Diggs (knee) didn't play, and the Bills came out with a pass-heavy gameplan that allowed Josh Allen to throw 26 passes on three drives (including eight to Sanders, five to Gabriel Davis and five to Cole Beasley). The throws to Davis and Beasley were more productive Saturday afternoon, but it's nonetheless interesting to see how frequently Sanders was targeted. Of course, Diggs should be back for Week 1 against Pittsburgh, coming off a 2021 campaign with 29 percent target share and a league-high 1,535 receiving yards. Diggs is the sure thing, while the division of snaps/targets between Sanders, Davis and Beasley will need to be monitored throughout the year.
