Impact Moreau picked up a thigh injury during training camp, but he's managed to return to full health in time to kick off the 2020 campaign. He's set to compete with Ronald Darby for starting reps across from Kendall Fuller (knee) during Sunday's season opener against the Eagles.

Impact Moreau limped off the field early in Sunday's session, but he returned with the aid of a wrap on his left thigh. This isn't expected to be a serious injury since he could return to the field, but muscle strains can be tricky, so keep an eye on the starting cornerback's status moving forward.

Fabian Moreau and Ronald Darby will enter training camp as the favorites to duke it out for the No. 2 role, but Moreland should at least get a shot to compete. He'll enter training camp at full health.

Impact Moreau started seven of his 12 appearances with Washington in 2019 despite battling knee, stinger and hamstring injuries throughout the season. Now healthy, the 2017 third-round pick could be the favorite to win the No. 2 gig opposite Kendall Fuller in training camp, though he'll face competition from newcomer Ronald Darby. The 26-year-old Moreau handled full 16-game slates during his first two years in the league.
