Hal Habib of the Palm Beach Post reports that Ramsey considers himself a game-time decision for Sunday's regular-season opener against Jacksonville. In the event that Ramsey can't go, Ethan Bonner will likely draw the start at cornerback.

Impact Washington began the week with back-to-back limited practices before being downgraded to a non-participant Friday. The rookie sixth-round pick was facing notable opportunities to contribute Week 1, with both Odell Beckham (undisclosed) and River Cracraft (upper body) out until Week 5 at the earliest, but he'll have to first return to full health. Braxton Berrios is thus positioned to serve as Miami's third wide receiver behind Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, with Grant DuBose positioned as the team's No. 4 option.

The veteran has been sidelined due to a hamstring injury since Aug. 12, and he could be in danger of missing Sunday's regular-season opener against the Jaguars, but Miami's decision to extend Ramsey at this time is a clear indication that the team isn't worried about his long-term availability. If Ramsey is able to practice in at least a limited capacity Friday, he could still manage to suit up Week 1.

Impact Walker was limited Wednesday due to a knee issue, but the 2017 fifth-round pick practiced with no restrictions Thursday and appears to be good to go for Sunday's regular-season opener against the Jaguars. Walker appeared in 12 regular-season games for the Browns last season, finishing with 44 tackles (23 solo), four passes defended, one forced fumble and two fumble recoveries.

Aaron Brewer - Plans to play Brewer (hand) expects to play Sunday against the Jaguars after being able to return to practice this week, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.
Impact Brewer broke his hand during practice in early August and underwent surgery to repair it. He hasn't suffered any setbacks and it's felt good in practice stating it's like "a brand new hand" and feels "real solid." Barring any setbacks, the Texas State product should be the Dolphins starting center Week 1.

Per David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel, Phillips is expected to operate on a snap count for the Dolphins' regular-season opener against the Jaguars on Sunday, but it could be a soft cap given the 2021 first-round pick was able to practice without restrictions Thursday.

Impact Poyer had been dealing with a fractured right thumb for most of training camp. He was limited to individual drills Wednesday, but he has now progressed to team drills and should be good to go for Sunday's regular-season opener against the Jaguars. Poyer signed a one-year deal with the Dolphins in March after spending the last seven seasons with the Bills, and the 2013 seventh-round pick is slated to start at strong safety alongside free safety Jevon Holland.
