Diagnosed with hyperextension Gallimore suffered a hyperextension of his left elbow in Friday's preseason game against the Cardinals, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Impact Gallimore was in considerable pain after leaving Friday's matchup, and he'll undergo an MRI on Saturday to determine the severity of the injury. A better idea of the defensive tackle's status will likely be revealed once the results of the MRI are known.

Injures elbow Gallimore is questionable to return to Friday's preseason opener against the Cardinals due to an elbow injury, Todd Archer of ESPN.com reports.
Impact The severity of the injury is unknown at this time. Either way, expect the Cowboys to err on the side of caution with their starting defensive tackle. He recorded 27 tackles (ten solo) and a half-sack during his rookie campaign in 2020.
