Wilson is tending to a low-ankle sprain that he sustained on the opening kickoff of the team's divisional-round win in Green Bay. He'll have two more chances to put himself in a position for his typical special-teams role ahead of Sunday's NFC Championship Game at the Rams.

Impact Sidelined since Week 9 due to a knee sprain, Sanu was activated from injured reserve Wednesday and avoided the injury report entirely following his first official practice since being activated. While Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk occupy the top two spots on the team's depth chart at wide receiver, Sanu will contend with Jauan Jennings for any snaps that linger at the position in Sunday's NFC Championship Game at the Rams. In eight appearances this season, Sanu recorded 15 catches (on 24 targets) for 177 yards and no touchdowns.

Impact Since sitting out Week 17 due to a sprained thumb on his throwing hand, Garoppolo has led the 49ers to three consecutive wins, but he was banged up in the team's playoff opener at Dallas, emerging with a right shoulder sprain that affected his practices reps last week. He isn't being listed with the second injury on this week's practice report, and neither issue is affecting his activity level on the field. Garoppolo, who will face the Rams for a third time this season Sunday in the NFC Championship Game, totaled 498 passing yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions between the first two meetings with Los Angeles.
