Impact Griffin is well-regarded as a cover corner in the league, but he managed to play in only five games in 2022 due to a combination of hip and back injuries. Further, the Jaguars will save $13.1 million in cap space by releasing him, a cap hit that may also deter other teams from trading for him. If Griffin hits free agency, he's likely to be among the most coveted corners on the market.

Impact Griffin was placed on IR in Week 8 of the regular season and missed the remainder of the campaign after undergoing back surgery. It appears he's close to a return and should be 100 percent for OTAs this summer, but his future with the team is in limbo given Jacksonville's need for cap space. Griffin has one year remaining on the three-year deal he signed with the Jaguars ahead of the 2021 campaign.
