Darius Slay ticked off after Lions left out of NFL's 'Color Rush'

The Detroit Lions will take on the Green Bay Packers this Thursday, but neither team will wear the "Color Rush" jerseys that have taken over Thursday Night Football this year.

Lions cornerback Darius Slay isn't happy that his team is getting left out of the NFL's new trend. He shared his frustration with the media on Sunday, according to Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press.

The "Color Rush" campaign has stirred conversation, if nothing else. Some fans love them; others hate them. The splash of color has been great for the league, not so great for the colorblind.

The New York Jets and Buffalo Bills were the first to debut their "Color Rush" uniforms a few weeks ago. The Jacksonville Jaguars and Tennessee Titans wore theirs a week later, then the Carolina Panthers and Dallas Cowboys wore theirs on Thanksgiving.

The Lions and Packers will sport traditional looks this Thursday. Those who feel slighted, such as Slay, will have to draw viewers with their play rather than their looks in Week 12.
