Dwight Freeney explains why NFL teams would be crazy not to sign him

Dwight Freeney is one of the most accomplished pass rushers of his generation, racking up 119.5 sacks through 14 NFL seasons, which is 19 more sacks than a guy who was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2015 (Charles Haley).

He's made seven Pro Bowls, and in 11 games last year with the Arizona Cardinals he led the team with eight sacks.

Freeney, 36, has been a great football player and still seems like he has something to offer an NFL team. The problem is Freeney is still without a job for 2016 as we creep closer to training camp, and he's being very public about his desire to play this season.

Last month, Freeney said he'd prefer to return to Arizona, but if not the Cardinals then, "It has to be a winning team. I'm used to winning."

Now it seems like Freeney is completely opening up his options and is willing to play with just about NFL team that wants to give him a contract. In an interview with Mike Freeman, Freeney made his case for why some NFL team would be wise to pick him up.
