Joe Theismann blasts Eagles QB Sam Bradford
Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford has been widely criticized for his reaction to the team drafting Carson Wentz with the second pick of the 2016 NFL Draft, a move that prompted Bradford to demand a trade.
Bradford, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2010 draft, arrived in Philadelphia in 2015, but after a mediocre first season the Eagles traded up to get who they believe will be the franchise quarterback of the future. Conor Barwin said Friday that he expects Bradford to return to the team when mandatory offseason camp begins in May, but noted that Bradford may only be the starter for another year or two.
Super Bowl champion and Redskins legend Joe Theismann, for one, is shocked that Bradford is shying away from competition for his No. 1 spot. Theismann ripped Bradford in an interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio Saturday.
