Lady Gaga to perform the national anthem at Super Bowl 50
Lady Gaga is on quite a roll.
Coming off a memorable Golden Globe win for her acting role in "American Horror Story," the NFL has announced that the singer-songwriter is going to perform the national anthem at Super Bowl 50 this Sunday.
Oscar-winning actress Marlee Matlin will perform in American Sign Language during the "Star-Spangled Banner" performance.
The Carolina Panthers-Denver Broncos matchup is just another high-profile event on Lady Gaga's jam-packed February. The woman also known as Stefani Germanotta is also set to perform a David Bowie tribute at the Grammys on Feb. 15, and is nominated for best original song at the Academy Awards, which will take place Feb. 28.
Coldplay and Beyonce will provide the Super Bowl halftime act.
No word, however, on whether or not the recording artist who once famously wore a dress made of raw meat will show up at Levi's Stadium in pigskin.
