New Packers TE Martellus Bennett is asking fans to pick his jersey number

Martellus Bennett is a man of the people — and as a man of the people, he's asking for fans to help pick his next jersey.

The Super Bowl LI champion tight end, who joined the Green Bay Packers in free agency Friday, set up a Twitter poll on Saturday to let fans choose between Nos. 80, 84, 85 and 86:

Ty Montgomery currently owns No. 88, the number Bennett wore with the New England Patriots.

At the time of this writing, all four numbers were locked in a dead heat with between 24 and 26 percent of the vote. In such a closely contested election, every ballot matters — so be sure to make your voice heard before the poll closes on Sunday afternoon.
