WATCH: Patriots get first defensive TD of year thanks to Chandler Jones
The New England Patriots are no strangers to finding the end zone, but it's been the offense doing all of the scoring this season. In the second quarter of Sunday's Week 15 game against the Tennessee Titans, though, the defense got in on the fun.
Chandler Jones stripped Marcus Mariota as he went to pass, fooling the cameraman in the process. Akiem Hicks scooped it up, fumbled it into the end zone but recovered it for the touchdown.
It was the Patriots' first defensive touchdown of the year, and their first fumble return for a score since Oct. 26, 2014 against the Chicago Bears. Additionally, Jones tied a career-high in sacks (11 1/2), which he set in 2013. The score gave New England a 14-0 lead in the second and they would go on to add to that lead with a touchdown from Tom Brady to James White.
