WATCH: Pats FB Iosefa embarrasses defender with booming truck stick
The New England Patriots have lost their two best running backs this season, but they still manage to find guys who can contribute in big ways. Brandon Bolden and James White will receive most of the snaps without LeGarrette Blount in the fold, but fullback Joey Iosefa is looking to earn some playing time, too.
He did just that on this 15-yard run in the second quarter of Sunday's game. But it wasn't about the yardage he gained, it was about how he did it. Iosefa took a first-down carry to the right side and leveled Tennessee Titans cornerback Coty Sensabaugh, leaving him on his back as he rumbled for 15 yards.
Iosefa, a rookie, was promoted from the practice squad on Saturday and made an immediate impact with this physical run. It was just the third carry of his career, making it count in a big way. Sensabaugh may not know Iosefa's name, but he won't forget what he did to him.
Joey Iosefa is a 247 pound fullback for the Patriots who will truck stick anything and everything in his way. Wow. https://t.co/xucMZaHik8
