Jets CB Antonio Cromartie is going back to school
The New York Jets' season ended earlier than they had hoped thanks to a season-finale loss to the Buffalo Bills and a win by the Pittsburgh Steelers. Of course, no player is happy about it, especially after the run they went on towards the end of the season. However, there is somewhat of a bright side to the early ending.
For cornerback Antonio Cromartie, it's that he gets to go back to school before he expected to. He posted on Instagram Tuesday that he'll be returning to school to get his degree.
Cromartie left Florida State early to enter the NFL Draft in 2006 where he was selected with the 19th overall pick by the San Diego Chargers. He obviously made the right choice to declare early, but he still wants to get his degree in social science -- and he should get nothing but high praise for that.
