Eagles LB Kiko Alonso ruled out with left knee injury
It has been a long road back for Eagles linebacker Kiko Alonso after he missed the 2014 regular season with a torn ACL, and his comeback might have to be put on hold. During the second quarter of a Week 2 matchup with the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday in Philadelphia, Alonso was forced from the game with a left knee injury, and the team quickly ruled him out of the game.

The 2013 Defensive Rookie of the Year suffered the injury to the same knee that cost him last season with a torn ACL. It was not obvious which play caused the injury, but it's never a good sign when a player is ruled out for the rest of the game immediately. Alonso came to the Eagles in a blockbuster offseason trade that sent star running back LeSean McCoy to Buffalo.
Later in the game, fellow Eagles linebacker Mychal Kendricks was ruled out with a hamstring injury.
