Giants safety tweets that cousin was victim in San Bernardino shooting
Facts about the San Bernardino shooting are still being disseminated by officials, but one NFL player tweeted on Thursday that his cousin was one of the 14 victims killed on Wednesday.
Nat Berhe, a second-year safety for the Giants who is on injured reserve, sent out this message to his followers on Thursday afternoon.
Berhe is on injured reserve after a hardened blood clot curtailed his season. He had 14 tackles and a fumble recovery for the Giants last season.
Berhe also sent out these tweets in regard to the shooting, which took place at a holiday party at a social service facility.

Send a prayer up for my hometown #SanBernardino, active shooter situation, 20+ victims. Hurts my heart.
