Seahawks' Doug Baldwin details the team's pregame plan to 'stand together'
The Seattle Seahawks kept the world waiting this week with their announced plan for some sort of pregame demonstration on Sunday, the 15th anniversary of Sept. 11. One day before the team's season opener, wide receiver Doug Baldwin finally tipped the team's hand.
The Seahawks wide receiver shared a video on social media on Saturday stating the Seahawks' intentions:

While it's not entirely clear whether this moment will come before or during the anthem, it seems safe to say that the Seahawks' demonstration is in no way a protest of the current state of affairs in the United States.
Seahawks cornerback Jeremy Lane sat during the national anthem before Seattle's preseason finale against the Oakland Raiders on Sept. 1, following in the footsteps of San Francisco 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick, who generated a heated national conversation when he first sat down during the national anthem this preseason to protest racial injustice in America. Kaepernick later changed the form (if not the substance) of his demonstration by taking a knee in the 49ers' final preseason game, where he was joined in his protest by teammate Eric Reid.
Seattle's Lane told reporters earlier this week that he planned to continue his protest. In light of Baldwin's announcement, we'll have to wait to see how Lane reacts Sunday.
