Grantland pegs Rams as 'rising team' in NFL
The Rams are entering Year 4 under head coach Jeff Fisher and GM Les Snead.
And it appears the future looks bright.
Grantland's Bill Barnwell agrees as well, pegging the Rams as a team on the rise in 2015.
Barnwell outlines a best-case scenario where Todd Gurley wins Offensive Rookie of the Year and the Rams feared pass rush terrorizes opposing quarterbacks.
He believes a 10-6 record, along with a postseason berth is attainable, and points to the decline of the Cardinals and 49ers as another reason why the Rams will see greater success in the NFC West come fall.
However, Barnwell writes the worst-case scenario is both Gurley and Nick Foles get injured and the pass rush fails to mask the secondary's weaknesses.
It's not a make-or-break year for the Rams, but there is optimism surrounding the franchise considering its infusion of talented youth on the roster over the last couple years.
