Why Kirk Cousins bought his teammates Tommy Bahama shirts
The Washington Redskins hosted their annual Welcome Home Luncheon on Wednesday, allowing fans, former players and those on the current roster join together for a meal. Quarterback Kirk Cousins wanted to make sure every player in attendance looked their best ... so he bought them all Tommy Bahama shirts.

He didn’t just do it to be a comedian or to make his teammates look like beach bums, though. Cousins handed out the tropical wear to honor Washington director of operations Paul Kelly, who is almost always seen wearing Tommy Bahama shirts.

"I had a nice suit picked out, but team unity won," DeAngelo Hall said via the Richmond Times-Dispatch. "So we're all dressed to impress in honor of PK. That's all he wears is Tommy Bahama shirts."
Cousins is known as a character who listens to Creed and quotes “Wedding Crashers” when he talks trash on the practice field, but he’s also a great teammate.
It may have been a small gesture, but it was a kind one to honor one of the team’s execs.
