Impact It's the first time Hockenson has been listed on the injury report since he was a full participant in Week 1 after recovering from a summer shoulder injury. There were no signs of workload limitation in the Week 4 loss to Chicago, with Hockenson seeing eight targets on 82 percent of snaps.

Impact This probably wasn't the rebound fantasy managers wanted to see from Hockenson after he caught just two of two targets for 10 yards last week. However, outside of that Week 3 dud, Hockenson has averaged over nine targets per game, which would rank higher than any other tight end not named Travis Kelce or Darren Waller. As one of the busiest tight ends in the game, Hockenson will look to get back on track in Week 5 against a Vikings team that could pile up points on Detroit's underwhelming defense.

Impact Hockenson led the Lions in all major receiving categories, with his night highlighted by an eight-yard touchdown in the back of the end zone during the second quarter. The third-year pro has now scored in consecutive games to begin this season, catching eight passes in both outings as well. Amid Detroit's underwhelming receiving corps, Hockenson's consistency and volume in the passing game makes him a rather valuable commodity at tight end. He'll look to keep his strong form going in Week 3 versus the Ravens.

Top option in passing game Hockenson caught eight of 10 targets for 97 yards and one touchdown during Sunday's 41-33 loss to San Francisco. He also caught a two-point conversion.
Impact As expected, Hockenson and D'Andre Swift (11 targets) were the Lions' top options in the passing game as Jared Goff struggled to attack the 49ers' questionable group of cornerbacks. While it should be noted that Detroit fell down 38-10 halfway through the third quarter -- which played a large role in Goff attempting a hefty 57 passes, and, in turn, Hockenson, seeing double-digit targets -- the Lions defense may be bad enough to regularly force Goff to throw at will. Hockenson should be one of the top fantasy options at tight end when Detroit travels to Green Bay in Week 2.
