Tunsil will have two more chances to practice ahead of Saturday's game against the Eagles, but if he's not cleared to play, then Brandon Coleman would be the top candidate to start at left tackle.

Impact Jones missed this past Sunday's win over the Giants due to an injury to his ribs. He didn't practice in any capacity last week, but he was able to log a full session to begin Week 16 prep. That suggests Jones is on track to return to action Saturday against Philadelphia.

Impact Yankoff hurt his ankle Sunday against the Giants and apparently remains bothered by the issue. He'll almost certainly need to practice in some capacity by Thursday to have a chance of suiting up Saturday against Philadelphia. The Commanders are already shorthanded at tight end with Zach Ertz (knee) done for the season, so John Bates and Ben Sinnott are currently the team's only healthy players at the position.

Impact Wagner has been dealing with a knee injury for most of December, but he hasn't yet missed any games. The veteran linebacker was listed as a DNP due both to the knee and "rest" Wednesday, suggesting that his absence was for injury maintenance rather than a setback. The knee issue didn't seem to bother Wagner in Sunday's win against the Giants, as he logged seven tackles while playing every defensive snap for Washington.

In order for him to suit up against the Eagles on Saturday, he'll need to clear the NFL's five-step concussion protocol and presumably return to practice in some capacity. If Goldman can't play in Week 16, Jer'Zhan Newton is among those who could see an uptick in defensive snaps.

Impact Rodriguez went DNP-limited-limited in practice last week and ended up being inactive for Sunday's win over the Giants. However, it now appears Rodriguez is ready to return to the lineup after missing one contest. Jacory Croskey-Merritt was impressive in Rodriguez's absence against the Giants, rushing for 82 yards and one touchdown on 10 carries. It will be interesting to see how Washington plans to divvy up early-down work between Rodrguez and Croskey-Merritt on Saturday against the Eagles.
